About Patrick
"No great genius has ever existed without some touch of madness" - Aristotle
Patrick began developing literary ideas at a very early age. He recalls writing many short stories and re-writing his comic book collection as early as 8 or 9 years old. His passion for writing was further developed during his later school years, a time throughout which Patrick began writing longer, more substantial essays and position papers for various classes at the same time continuing his interest in writing shorts and poetry - many a girlfriend found herself on the receiving end of one of Patrick's prized poems! It wasn't until his college years that Patrick began writing his first full-length novel, a loose interpretation of Kerouac's "On The Road" incorporating his own travels and exploits during his time spent studying, traveling, and running amuck through Australia in 1997. He is currently working on a series of children's books.
As a continuation of his creative writing Patrick has involved himself in the development of what he calls "ill-mannered" and "subtly inappropriate" t-shirt slogans. His designs can be seen on his company's website www.sarcasmsells.com, the online home of his clothing label, SarcasmWear.
Patrick can usually be found at home grilling one of his famous "too good to be cooked by human hands" meals with his girlfriend and/or good friends or in Chicago with his dear friend Chris when his schedule allows. If you look closely you might also find him at any of America's finer and more famous tattoo shops as Patrick has been completely bitten by "the ink bug".
